300 g Petit bear biscuits

100 g sugar

150 g butter

200 g dark chocolate

2 eggs

2 teaspoons of rum


1To begin the preparation of chocolate salami leave the butter out of the refrigerator so that it softens at room temperature , and then Break the biscuits using the back of a spoon, make them into crumbs.

2Melt the chocolate using the bain Marie method, stir with a spoon , until it becomes creamy and without lumps and let it cool . When the butter is soft enough , work it with an electric whisk for few seconds, gradually adding the sugar, eggs , melted chocolate now cooled , and the Rum . Mix well and pour the mixture into the bowl where you have crumbled cookies , mixing and mix well . At this point you got the dough for your chocolate salami.

3To give it the classic form of salami , you have to put the dough into a sheet of parchment paper that you will roll pressing the dough to give it a cylindrical shape . When wrapping, press the chocolate salami to make it compact. Wrap the chocolate salami in aluminum foil and place in the refrigerator until it hardened (at least two to three hours )

Keep it in the fridge for max 3 days in an airtight container.
